What does it for me is the reality-tv-style “reaction shots” of all the inanimate objects surrounding them.

It’s a very cute cartoon, but I think it misconceives the Garden of Eden. Eden before the Fall was innocent; there was no sex. Note that Eve bore no children while in Eden.

According to Milton, there was sex in Eden before the Fall. Not that that settles the matter, but it does show that it’s a plausible view.

The bit about being fruitful is Genesis 1:28, well before they get kicked out of the garden…
