I did actually once see a house with a giant, 10-foot, inflatable menorah in the front yard. It struck me as a comically bad attempt to compete with the most schmaltzy and gaudy parts of Christmas.

A home in my town has one that’s at least twice that size, and they leave it up for several months before and after Chanukah. People actually use it as a landmark (“Make a left turn when you see the big-ass menorah”)
Christmas envy. I’m just waiting for the mall to offer to have your kid’s photo taken with a Maccabee.
