Okay, while the same scene being repeated three times (see below) actually does make more sense — and is kind of funny — this was in fact a WordPress glitch: The comic was supposed to be a single panel (above)

  1. I like the first way better. However, I just noticed how rude this robot is. It is dropping nuts, bolts and springs on the floor. Has it no decency to use the robot outhouse?

Some alternate punchlines keeping in mind the pieces all over the place:
“Mabel just left me; I’m falling apart.”

“Your chili blew out my colon.”

    “I’m dying.”

  2. How ’bout:

“Where’s your restroom? I have to download.”

  3. … or “I have to take a core dump.”

  4. Human’s use their Blackberry to check their email. Robots eat them, with cream apparently.

  5. Yeah, I thought I had it all worked out when the strip was tripled.

It must be a reference to the Blackberry PDA, but it’s not very funny.

  6. Wow. What a disappointment: an actual funny joke turns into a rather lame reference to the Blackberry. I should’ve known something was up, because this appears to be a daily. Like “Dennis the Menace,” “Frank & Earnest” is a one-panel through the week and multiple panels only on Sunday.

  7. I didn’t get this until I read Jim’s comment about Blackberry PDA’s. And I agree that it isn’t funny. Possibly because few people refer to Blackberries in the plural. Perhaps if the robot had said, “I’ll have a Blackberry, with cream.” Or if it had shown him with a bowl of PDAs, and he’d said, “Excuse me, I ordered my Blackberries with cream.”

  8. I guess it would be better if the joke on “Blackberry” was accompanied by a RIM shot.
