I don’t expect to Thorax to make any sense — but her reaction, and his third-panel reaction to her reaction… I don’t get it.

  1. I don’t get it 100%, but it seems clear enough to me that in the third panel, he interpreted her statement as “You don’t wear…” (the implication being “underwear”)

  2. Thorax just kinda has that effect on people, and considers it a complement.

  3. Well, of course one should take it as a compliment when one leaves a person speechless.

By the way, when is this page going to become official and not just experimental?

  4. I think at this point it might as well be considered “official”. It’s not as if I’m ever going to move all the content over to a different address, after all.

  5. Actually, there’s an off-panel joke here.

“Fjffl” has no B. Neither do Edith or Franklin. (that’s all in the joke above)

So what is it that she’s spluttered her way up to?

    “Where’s the B?!”

    Then she stomps off-camera.

Although, you know, where’s the beef jokes are hopelessly outdated.

It’s that or she screamed something else to him before stomping off; the distance between her and him is supposed to imply to the reader that in the last panel a bit of time has elapsed since the one before it, and during that time something blush-worthy was said about his name.
