Okay, was I the only one who thought “Lorena Bobbitt as a child”?

  1. Probably not, but I wouldn’t have.

Slicing a banana is just too common an activity to associate it with slicing… something else.

  2. Are you the only one?

    I certainly hope so.

  3. Not I. I was too busy with the logical side again: the banana slices would have landed on the cereal in the exact opposite order than shown.

  4. Yes, you are.

Not really- the top of a peeled banana looks a lot like the bottom.

  6. Why is there a giant alien maggot rearing out of Nancy’s cereal?

  7. I’m with ya, Bill. That was one of my first impressions. It took me a little while to figure out the banana slices.

  8. I didn’t think “Lorena Bobbit”, but I definitely thought phallic.

but maybe I’m just sick that way 😉

  9. I’m sorry, but I can’t even force myself to see phallic imagery in there. If you’re talking about the cut up banana that somehow doubled in radius, then I sincerely hope that doesn’t resemble anything familiar to anyone! Also, I’m pretty sure Lorena only did one cut, since I heard something about them finding it and reattaching it. Still not something I see in that cereal.

I think this one is just a goofy visual joke, but you’re welcome to read as much as you want into it.
