  4. Wow — I haven’t read BC since Johnny Hart died, and this guy actually makes me appreciate Hart’s artistic deftness. Would Hart have had a corn kiosk? With a seemingly-random granite block just there for leaning on? The setup is still Hart-esquely contrived (BC’s second sentence doesn’t really equate to his first sentence, thus the gag) — but the end result is a paler, dumber shadow of the original. Out to pasture — please.

  5. The second panel after the logo would have been funnier if they’d thrown human ears. Of course, that wouldn’t have set up the Grog defecation joke. But maybe that would’ve been a good thing…

    I don’t want to think about Grog’s digestive system. He has no torso. Where’s the stomach? Where are the intestines? He has no ROOM for these things!
