  1. Well, just imagine the look on the Russians’ faces!

Assuming that they would have been the 2nd nation to make it to the moon… which back in the good old days of the Apollo program would have seemed a pretty good bet…

Nowadays you’d probably have to say “the Chinese Faces”, I guess… Of course, that would probably be Chinese Astronauts, setting up a giant replica of a Bejing apartment… and then imagine the look on our faces, if we ever made it back up there…

No, on 2nd thought, I’d rather not try to imagine that. The improbability of it is just too sad.

  2. Couldn’t they imagine the Russians’ faces without going to the extra trouble & expense?

  3. Powers – well, yeah, but they want to imagine something that will probably happen, and now they can!

It seems INSANELY outdated to me, but still funny.

  4. What I really want to know is how they got those into their ship to begin with. It’s a quarter of the size of the recliner alone.

  5. Daijinryuu, IKEA flat packages. Or inflatables.

  6. For me, this one would fall into comics that made me laugh out loud.

  7. How pathetic is it that I feel nostalgic about the cold war?

  8. Keera, inflatables? How did they transport the air with which to inflate them?

Maybe they sculpted everything out of moon rocks?

  10. How’d they get the furniture to the moon?

They brought it upstairs from the props department just like everything else on the soundstage.

    Duh.

  11. This is out of date. The Chinese are planing to go there next, right?
