Feels Real

Filed under: Arlo Page, B.C., Bill Bickel, Christmas trees, comic strips, comics, humor, Johnny Hart — Cidu Bill @ 1:51 pm

Sorry, I lost track of how many people sent me this as an Arlo Page candidate — and who pointed out that Johnny Hart was probably turning over in his grave.

  1. He’s turning over in his grave because a BC strip is actually funny or a change.

  2. Eh, I don’t worry too much about Hart’s disposition regarding this strip. Either there’s no afterlife, so he’s not around to care, he’s in Hell (or other negative afterlife) and therefore has worse problems, or he’s in Heaven (or its equivalent) and has been forcibly given a clue and some perspective. 🙂

  3. I think this almost qualifies for the Ewwwww files, too. Or at least the “My Mind Didn’t Really Want to Go There” files.

  4. Why did his stubble change from lines to dots from panel two to three?

  6. Dave from comment #2–just curious–are you by any chance CRCNA, or ex-CRC?

  7. @ John Berry: I think he’s broken a sweat over what the Fat Chick is gonna do to him if he answers . . .

  8. Laterain — Just curious: what’s the difference between the two?

  9. Yeah, in the paper it was clear that those were sweat drops.

  10. Definitely the funniest BC strip in a long time. Didn’t actually make me laugh, but it’s still a big improvement!
