A Post-Christmas Comic That Made Me Laugh Out Loud

I can laugh at this, because Christmas isn’t my holiday. All I ever have to do is put away a menorah, and I’m done.

And I hope to get around to that by the end of the week at the latest.

They’re Christmas cookies. Even the President of the ACLU calls them Christmas cookies. Unless, you know, some of them are shaped like dreidels and Kwanzaa candles.

No Quarter Given

Filed under: Bill Bickel, CIDU, comic strips, comics, Greg Evans, humor, Luann, money — Cidu Bill @ 12:02 am

Jack Applin: Is it that girls are stingier than boys? Does Luann work for 75 cents an hour? Is it reverse panhandling, where if I lend you a quarter, I get to tell you my life’s story? Is it simply that Luann is overworked, and so wants some time?

Bill Responds: My guess was that Luann carries so many “bags,” it will take her 20 minutes to find a quarter; but I’m thinking we should open this up to the womenfolk…

And a big hello to everybody visiting us from the Linguaphile group.
