Honestly there’s a bit of CIDU here because I’m not sure whether Dan Piraro intended this as a “There’s a War on Christmas!” whine. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and say no, though, because it made me laugh.

Comics That Made Me Laugh Out Loud: October

For some reason, almost all the comics that made me laugh out loud this month were published on October 11.

A Whole New World
So not wanting to humiliate herself means she has to go into rehab, rather than the other way around? Is there anything more to this than simply a reversal of logic?

Comic That Made Me Laugh Out Loud: July
Seriously, if it happens once a month, that’s a lot. The last time was in May, a Beevnicks strip. I decided to e-mail Owen Dunne and mention it, and he responded by saying Well, that’s my ultimate goal in life, to make Bill Bickel laugh.
He meant that in a nice way, I’m sure.
So I’m wondering… How often do the comics make you audibly chuckle? And feel free to send me the comic in question.

Stuff
What an odd way to phrase this: Is Dithers saying Johnny Hart was one hell of an ultra-conservative, religious fundamentalist anti-Semite?
Maybe and maybe not, but I have noticed that several of the Hart tributes by fellow cartoonists have been either very awkward or clearly left-handed compliments.
And… You notice hardly anybody seems to have noticed that Brant Parker died too? I mean, even the Big Bopper got more attention than this.
